Four Anniversary Dinners at The Best Restaurants in Atlanta

We recently took a nice relaxing trip to Atlanta. It was our anniversary! YAY, we made it to year 1, the big ONE, the greatest anniversary yet! Naturally, we chose the most romantic place in the world; Atlanta, Georgia. We wanted to get away for a bit, eat good food at the best restaurants in Atlanta, explore and relax. Why Atlanta? Well, the flights were cheap and direct and you can’t beat that. On top of that, there’s some cool places to visit and we always like checking out new cities. Plus, any place can be as romantic as you make it! Beyond that, the food scene in Atlanta is…

Hawaii Diaries #16 – Flight Home From Hawaii

[This post about my flight home from Hawaii may contain affiliate links at no cost to you] I was up early and feeling like crap as I was dealing with a full blow cold here. That would make for a crappy flight home from Hawaii. At the very least, it hit me near the end of trip and I got to enjoy everything before feeling like a wet noodle. We got up late and didn’t have a lot of time so we packed and got going. The flight home from Hawaii was going to be an all day event. We were leaving in the morning and wouldn’t get to NYC…

  • Hawaii Diaries #15 – Volcanoes National Park

We were up early and eager to head over to Volcanoes National Park. The park and the volcano was the reason we actually came to the Big Island. Originally, the plan was to spend 10 days in Kauai then come to the Big Island to finish our trip. However, the active lava flows that started in May impacted our Airbnb on the east side of the island and caused us to change our honeymoon plans. We added Maui to the itinerary but still wanted to see a volcano. You can’t simply come to an island that has volcanoes and not see the volcano. Sure, the place wasn’t fully open and…

  • Maui Shave Ice

Hawaii Diaries #14 – Maui Shave Ice and Big Island Time

We had a few hours to kill before our flight. We didn’t want to waste our final day in Maui so we decided to make some pit stops. First, after having a ton of shave ice on Kauai, we couldn’t leave without trying the best Maui Shave Ice. Ululani’s Shave Ice had a location right near our place. It was right near a baker too which was convenient. We could pick up some pastries for our flight to the Big Island. According to the internet, Ululani’s is the place to go for Maui Shave Ice. Having become a shave ice connoisseur/douche, I wanted to give it a go. I definitely…
